Which Anti-Virus is right for me?

Installing an anti-virus can be an easy decision for some but a hard one for others, some people trust and swear by a certain one and will probably claim it's the best option. However, there are pros and cons to all of them and ultimately it will come down to personal preference. Microsoft's pre-installed anti-virus known as Windows Defender has become a trusted and reliable software, you could just have Windows Defender on its own and it will still do a good job, however it's probably best to install an external anti-virus. some popular choices include: Bitdefender, AVG, Avast, Norton, Kaspersky and McAfee. If you are looking for a free anti-virus program, we at Circuit would recommend AVG, we think it is the best free software as it provides more features than other free programs that will still protect you from threats, however AVG offers more including a PC tune-up and USB scanner. However, if you are looking for a paid and more premium software, we would recommend Bitdefender, it is lightweight, easy to use and will give you solid protection. The problem that AVG runs into is it is resource hungry, meaning it will slow your computer down, whereas Bitdefender should not, this is the difference between free and paid software.
